KUWAIT: MP Ahmad Al-Mulaifi disclosed the country is plagued with problems due to the fact that the Cabinet is led by a premier who is unable to set goals. He said the Cabinet has lost its priorities and interests and is mixed up; hence aims and goals have faded away. He said we are now in dire need of the right moves that will restore the situation and bring it back on the right track.
He said the Constitution specifies that the one personality that cannot be criticized or questioned over performance is HH the Amir. This implies that the premier does not have any constitutional advantage as far as his performance is concerned and does not have any form of immunity on his administrative, political or financial practices as well.
He accused the current government for being lost and said its job has became scattered with individual preferences. He posed a question, saying, "What did the premier achieve as the executive chief and the one in control of the Cabinet's work according to article 12 and 127 of the Constitution?
