The MP said that the AC systems in a number of schools in the Saad Al-Abdulla
h area are already broken, despite the schools only being constructed in recent years. Al-Walan predicted that more problems would be discovered in other schools following the beginning of the new term, adding that he would be directing a number of parliamentary questions to Al-Sabeeh about the daily problems faced by the country's schools.

Pre-winter allergies
KUWAIT: The Public Health Consultant at the Al-Ahmadi Hospital Dr Abdullatif Al-Mor cautioned people who suffer from allergies to be careful at this time of the year. He advised them to take all necessary medication as a precautionary measure. He said that the allergy season has begun in Kuwait, with its humidity and the approach of winter carrying an increase in the possibility of allergic reactions and diseases of the respiratory system. Allergies are unnatural reactions to natural substances like pollen
for example which is normally accepted by unaffected people's bodies. An allergic individual's body secretes a chemical substance to fight the pollen which results in sneezing, rashes or breathing difficulties, said Dr Al-Mor. "By using medication like inhalers and so on, one can limit the effects of allergies in this season," he said.
