KUWAIT: The Ministry of Interior recently revealed that it is planning to impose fees on visit visas to Kuwait. The ministry said the proposed fees would be the lowest of those charged by GCC nations. Kuwait will impose a fee of KD 15 while Bahrain and Qatar's fees remain at KD 40 and KD 50 respectively.
A MoI official also revealed that residency fee increases will take effect from beginning of next year, with a special committee set to complete a study on the increased residency fees shortly. In other news, the Cabinet will discuss a security plan for monitoring Kuwait's borders over Eid during today's session.
