KUWAIT: Ministry of Education's Undersecretary Jassim Al-Omar said that the ministry has made no decision to give students a holiday during the last 10 days of Ramadan. Al-Omar noted that the ministry's leaders did not think about this matter at all and he said a 10 day holiday is something that would just cause problems in the ministry.
New service center at KU
KUWAIT: Director of the Interior Ministry's Service Centers Department Colonel Saleh Zaid Al-Obaid said that his department will begin operating a new service center at Kuwait University's Shuwaikh campus on Monday, October 1. He added that the center will serve students and faculty. Service centers have led to reducing pressure on other service centers in regards to immigration, nationality, criminal evidence and traffic transactions, Al-Obaid said. "The centers provide several services in one place which
saves time and effort," he said and added that the centers reflect the services presented by the Interior Ministry.
Interior Ministry to hold Girgian party
KUWAIT: The Ministry of Interior will hold its annual Girgian party today, September 28 at 9:00 am at the Police Officer's Club. The party is supervised by the Interior Ministry's Public Relations and Moral Guidance department. The ceremony aims to preserve Kuwaiti traditions and heritage.
