KUWAIT: InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG),--a group of seven well-known hotel brands launched on Tuesday a new priority 'Business Club' account for their guests. The Business Club account was launched at Crowne Plaza Hotel, one of the group five star hotels, currently operating in the country. Created to reward loyal customers, the new 'Business Club' will also compensate corporate bookers by simply accumulating points on their Business Club account every time they use IHG services. ls Group include Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.
Anywhere in the world, members can acquire points and eventually redeemed their cash reward via participating retail outlets or re-convert them to discounts or free accommodation at any of their member hotels.
Hani Kafafi, Director of Operations Northern Gulf & General Manager of Crowne Plaza Hotel officially launched Business Club and congratulated partners to making the new loyalty program possible. "Our first priority is always to our valuable clientele. Thus, Business Club is our way of saying 'thank you' to you and your company for your business," said Kafafi.
Kafafi noted that InterContinental Hotels Group was not abandoning 'Priority Club Rewards', which has approximately 33 million members all over the world, but in fact giving more rewards to not just customers but this time bookers.

InterContinental Hotels Group partners in Kuwait include The Sultan Center, Centrepoint Department Store, Alghanim Electronics, La Marquese Jewellers and Beidoun. Kafafi also announced their 2008 expansion program which includes the opening of their second Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kuwait, the opening of two major Intercontinental Hotels, two Holiday Inns, three Stay Bridges and according to him a possible two Holiday Inn Express.
