KUWAIT: An official at the Ministry of Information criticized the assistant undersecretary of the ministry's press and print sector Tariq Al-Ajmi for frequently travelling to Cairo on the ministry's expense.
The official pointed out that Al-Ajmi had travelled to Cairo on Monday in order to hire three legal advisors for the press and print sector's legal department, reported Al-Qabas.
The official criticized the repeated visits of Al-Ajmi to Cairo within the last three years and he indicated that one of the visits of the assistant undersecretary was for building his own flat and only meeting advisors in his spare time.
The official further pointed out that the ministry had already hired two advisors from Cairo before and brought them to Kuwait, but then the ministry discovered that the two advisors had hepatitis so the ministry deported them.
The official expects that the current visit of Al-Ajmi to Cairo will be useless and a failure just like his former visits. He further pointed out that Al-Ajmi was accompanied to Cairo by the Information Ministry's Director of Administrative Affairs Hamoud Al-Azmi.
