KUWAIT: A new anti-aging technique has been introduced at Al-Salam Hospital. Known as Nano Young Dermacel, the technique uses pressure rather than needles, the technique is being introduced for the first time in Kuwait and the region. "The Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) is an innovation in the anti-aging sphere. It's presented for the first time in Kuwait. It's based on needle-less technology based on pressure, and the mass production of this material started in 1999," noted Dr. Ashraf Abdel Kader, Prof. of Plastic Surgery, MD Consultant and Chief of Plastic Surgery at Al-Salam International Hospital.

This technique became famous as it's safe and it has no allergic effects. The technique is used in different products for different purposes. So there is for instance the cel-lift hair restorative emulsion, cel-lift body perfect essence, cel-lift vitalizing emulsion, cel-lift radiance emulsion, prime silk essence and others," stressed Dr. Raafat Melad, the Vice Chairman of Surgi Pharma, the agent of Nano Young.

Refusing to announce the price Dr. Melad commented: "I can't tell you the price as it's a secret of our business. Thus I can ensure you that it's lower than the price of Botox injections." The presentation included live models on which the treatments were performed. A woman in her late 40s said she didn't feel any pain after applying the anti wrinkle treatment on her face and neck. This was followed by a presentation of restoring lost hair, and also a body lifting and tightening treatment, presented on two young men.
