Senegal PM arrives in Kuwait

KUWAIT: Senegalese Prime Minister Soulayemane Ndene Ndiaye and the accompanying delegation arrived here yesterday starting an official visit. He was received at Kuwait International Airport by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.

He was also received by the Head of the Honorary Mission, Advisor at the Diwan of the Prime Minister Diwan Dr. Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, besides a number of ministers, governors, advisors at the Prime Minister's Diwan, Senior commanders at the army, police and National Guards,as well as the dean of the diplomatic corps and the Senegalese ambassador to Kuwait Abdulahad Ambaki, and Kuwaiti ambassador to Senegal Dr.Hamad Mohammad Borhama.

Later, Sheikh Nasser held an official meeting at Seif Palace with Senegalese Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on means to develop bilateral relations amongst the two friendly nations and it also discussed issues of mutual interests.

The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and Minister of Finance Mustafa Al-Shimali.

Also attending were Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Moudhi Al-Humoud, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Roudhan Al-Roudhan, Minister of Commerce and Industry Ahmad Al-Haroun, head of the honorary delegation and advisor at His Highness the Prime Minister's Diwan Dr. Sheikh Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Undersecretary at the Foreign Ministry Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarrallah.
