SANAA: The Kuwaiti Ambassador in Sanaa, Salem Al-Zamanan, has said that Kuwait's relations with Yemen are deeply rooted in history, and are fortified by Kuwait's continuous support for Yemen's overall development.

In an interview with the local 'Al-Wehda' newspaper, Al-Zamanan stated that Kuwait views its relations with Yemen as strong and ever growing, adding that both countries are keen on bolstering relations through the exchange of visit amongst Kuwaiti-Yemeni officials.

Kuwait and Yemen are setting up a number of meetings in the future to look into boosting relations in all domains, revealed the ambassador.

He indicated that Kuwait is taking an interest in investing in Yemen and looks forward to more economic cooperation between the two sides. - KUNA
