Kuwait, Bahrain affirm deep-rooted relations

KUWAIT: The State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain affirmed yesterday that the two regional countries are bound with historic and brotherly ties under umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah said in a statement to journalists upon arrival of his Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa on an official visit, "The relations between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain constitute an example of brotherly relations.
"These brotherly relations are deeply rooted."

HH the prime minister warmly welcomed the Bahraini prime minister, who
expressed gratitude for the distinguished welcome, and affirmed that his mission was aimed at holding consultations with the Kuwaiti leaders on current and future issues. "This visit affirms the solid ties between us," he said.
The Bahraini prime minister affirmed that peoples of the GCC member states are united with joint destiny. -- Kuna
